Members of the Rotary Club of Clayton County held a weekly meeting with students of the Charles Drew High School Culinary Arts Program. Rotary donated $2,000 to the program designed to, “Build leaders for healthy families, successful careers and strong communities.” In this disciplined student organization, the students learn as much about life as they do about the business and professional side of the world of culinary arts. The funds from the Rotary Club of Clayton County resulted in 25 uniforms for the local program that has garnered regional awards and recognition from the, “Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America,” organization.
