Upcoming Program
David Frew & Howard Shore along with their K9 Team to visit the RCSS

On Monday, January 25th, David Frew and Howard Shore will be visiting the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. They will have with them possibly three dogs from their Happy Tails Therapy K9 team.

David and Howard joined us virtually in the recent past, but Monday they'll be in-person to show off just how much joy can be spread with happy tails.

As a quick reminder of David Frew's past, he provided a quick bulleted list as his bio:

• Was in the Sales Incentive Travel & Meetings industry my entire working career.
• Worked with Fortune 500 Corporations developing their international events and meetings.
• My Therapy dog Ranger, an English Setter recently passed away at 16.5 years old
• Ranger was my wife's dog, however lost her to cancer 2009.
• Ranger was trained by her and she got him certified to be a Happy Tails Therapy dog in 2003.
• After her passing I had to be tested and certified by Happy Tails to be his handler
• Ranger was a HOPE - Fema dog, being deployed to disasters in the Southeast
• He worked in most of the major Atlanta hospitals as a Therapy and Comfort dog.
• Also worked at Hospice Atlanta for many years in addition to many nursing homes.
• Has been featured by TV stations many times for his work in the city.
• In 2015 he was the original therapy dog for Northside Hospital's Chaplin department.

David also provided an 11alive news link to give us a sneak peak:  11alive - Happy Tails Therapy
