Upcoming Program
Captain Mike Lindstrom of the Sandy Springs Police Department will be addressing the RCSS

Against the recent background of tension, the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has invited our very own Captain Mike Lindstrom of the Sandy Springs Police department to the podium to talk about current events and answer your questions.

This meeting will be live. It will NOT be a virtual meeting. The Hilton Perimeter Suites has taken many precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs does practice social distancing, mask wearing and limited table seating. However, we ask that you please use your own best judgement in deciding whether to attend.

Captain Lindstrom is the commander of the Special Operations Unit, which is comprised of the Street Crimes Unit, Traffic Unit, K-9 Unit, and the Bicycle Unit.

He started his police career with the Fulton County Police Department and has been with the Sandy Springs Police Department since its inception in 2006. His previous assignments include Community Affairs, Internal Affairs, and Criminal Investigations. Captain Lindstrom is a graduate of the Command College at Columbus State College and the FBI National Academy. He is also a member of the Sandy Springs Rotary Club and a graduate of Leadership Sandy Springs - Class of 2016.

We hope you will join us to show support for our Police and welcome Captain Mike Lindstrom to the podium.

More information about the Sandy Springs Police Department can be found here: https://www.sandyspringsgapolice.gov/
