Johns Creek resident, John Suttles, will re-tell his 1st person account of participating in the march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on February 18, 1965. He was only 16 years old when he marched on that day with the late Rep. John Lewis. During this march, 600 participants were attacked and beaten while peacefully marching for the right to vote. This story, re-told through the eyes of someone who was there, provides a powerful remembrance of our history from not so long ago.
