Chamblee Cemetery Cleanup

On September 27, 2014, there was a joint cooperative effort between the RCNA, the Chamblee Chamber of Commerce, and students from the Chamblee Charter High School Interact Club to clean up a Chamblee Cemetery.

RCNA Rotarian Broc Fisher, Nathan Aberson, and A.G. Lou Alvarado were present, as was Art Freeman, President of the Chamblee Chamber of Commerce.

It was first joint venture of its kind, and they got the job done!

In addition to improving the appearance of an historical landmark, it also brought together three separate community organizations, providing good PR for all three.

(Note: The volunteer figures noted below are for the Rotarians only. There were approximately 15 other volunteers who served about 45 hours. The total is 54 hours spent by 18 volunteers).
