Patriot Day Commemoration set for Saturday, Sept. 11

The community is invited to attend a Patriot Day commemoration event  in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The free event will honor the survivors and the people and the first responders who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks.

Saturday, September 11, 8:30 – 9:30 AM
Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Sanctuary, Johns Creek

Guest speakers:
General Glenn Spears, USAF, Ret., Former Base Commander Andrews AFB
(Responsibility of Air Force One on 9/11/2001

    Beth Zampieri, Community Resident and Twin Tower Survivor
    (Day 3 of her new job)

    Program participants:
    Autrey Mill Middle School Chorus
    Brent Davis, Baritone Soloist
    Commander Kimberly N. George, USN
    JCFD and JCPD

    Donations:
    In support of the Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation, donations will be accepted
     in memory of all first responders who risked and lost their lives on 9/11.

    Mt Pisgah UMC sanctuary is located at 2850 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022.
    Seating is limited due to Covid policy of keeping attendees separated. Face masks are optional
    at this time. This policy could change if state or federal guidelines are imposed.
